I was watching the Discovery Times channel just yesterday and saw a report on Psychopaths. It was talking mostly about mass murderers and serial killers like Ted Bundy, the Green River killer, etc. However, many of the characteristics described reminded of KC. Here's a list and an explanation from a licensed psychologist:

The idea that psychopaths eat people is a myth. In reality, a person with a psychopathic personality can lead what appears to be an ordinary life. They can have jobs, get married and they can break the law like anyone else. But their jobs and marriages usually don’t last and their life is usually on the verge of personal chaos. They are almost always in some kind of trouble or they are not far from it.
A psychopath is usually a subtle manipulator. They do this by playing to the emotions of others. They typically have high verbal intelligence, but they lack what is commonly referred to as "emotional intelligence". There is always a shallow quality to the emotional aspect of their stories. In particular they have difficulty describing how they felt, why they felt that way, or how others may feel and why. In many cases you almost have to explain it to them. Close friends and parents will often end up explaining to the psychopath how they feel and how others feel who have been hurt by him or her. They can do this over and over with no significant change in the person's choices and behavior. They don't understand or appreciate the impact that their behavior has on others. They do appreciate what it means when they are caught breaking rules or the law even though they seem to end up in trouble again. They desperately avoid incarceration and loss of freedom but continue to act as if they can get away with breaking the rules. They don't learn from these consequences. They seem to react with feelings and regret when they are caught. But their regret is not so much for other people as it is for the consequences that their behavior has had on them, their freedom, their resources and their so called "friends." They can be very sad for their self. A psychopath is always in it for their self even when it seems like they are caring for and helping others. The definition of their "friends" are people who support the psychopath and protect them from the consequence of their own antisocial behavior. Shallow friendships, low emotional intelligence, using people, antisocial attitudes and failure to learn from the repeated consequences of their choices and actions help identify the psychopath."

I’ve been following Casey’s story for some time now … mainly because I’ve known this young man since he was 20 yrs old, and have always wondered what would become of him. You see, Casey worked as our webhost provider through his internet company “SweetHost” back in 2004. I knew from the very first time I met Casey, that he would probably be a millionaire by the time he was 30 yrs old. And I still believe that! What I saw in Casey back then, was the most brilliant computer technician I had ever met in my life. Given my background in Psychology, I figured that surely he must have an above average I.Q. Through my numerous interactions with Casey, I found him to be an honorable, intense young man, who had tremendous promise. Eventhough, I am much older than him, I found myself treating him more as an equal … instead of the manboy that he was at the time. I remember one time we had a problem with one of our websites, and we were really unhappy with Casey. So Casey remedied the problem by redesigning our entire website for Free of Charge. I know that it must of taken him the entire weekend to do it, but Casey wanted us to be happy with his services, and we were! About two years ago, Casey contacted us and told us that he could no longer work for us as our web host because he was going to do “other things”. Everyone in our business was so saddened by this, because he had become such a tremendous asset. Several times, we tried to get Casey to come back and work for us. It wasn’t until Casey quit working with us, that we realized how valuable he was. I learned a big lesson from my work experience with Casey, which is to never take anyone for granite … especially, when they’re already doing a good job. Nobody is perfect, and people make mistakes all the time. I think sometimes, we find ourselves judging too quickly without really looking at the big picture of the situation. Since I have firsthand work experience with Casey, I have a different perception of him than those who only know him through his blog. I know without a doubt that Casey is going to pull himself out of this hole that he has dug, and he will come out on top. I am proud of him, and proud of his honesty. I mean come on, he is just a kid … and he is sharing his story with the world so that others might learn from it. I think people should really give him a break, and start noticing just how creative this young man is. He really does have integrity, and he is a good person. I know everyone will see that one day. If you could have had all the “in person” experiences that I had with Casey, you would all recognize what a special young man he is.
This is neither here nor there, but pondering young Casey's situation, I am reminded a bit of the class structure of the Western world as posited by the great social critic Thorstein Veblen. Although the most recent of Veblin's writings are almost a century old, many of his ideas remain fresh and relevant.
At the very bottom of the class structure, below the "working poor," Veblin identified a group he called the "spurious aristocracy." the members of this "tinhorn leisure class" were generally outcasts, tramps, hobos, prostitutes, pimps, conmen, swindlers, and other assorted drifters, cads, and ner-do-wells.
The spurious aristocrats of the early 20th centry had more in common than simply living outside the bounds of polite Victorian society. What really makes them an identifiable class, according to Veblin, was their shared conviction that they were "TOO GOOD" to do honest work. They could be identified by flamboyant (indeed, often garish) personal style, pronounced egoism, and a disdain for the "mere drones and wheelcogs" that actually worked for a living. Although perpetually on the edge of ruin, in trouble with the law, and posessing little, they nevertheless saw at themselves as nobility, affecting lurid dress and flamboyanty speech that was a cartoonish echo of the way real successes dressed and spoke. They were perpetually convinced that because of their "natural superiority," life owed them a living, and were always "on the make for the next big score or grift," sure that their ship would soon come in.

Sorry dude but gonna have to call "bullshit" unless you can substantiate that claim.
Almost certainly - the tone is very similar, as is the lack of any real content other than "Go Casey!"
He's also blatantly censoring posts that try to add real content - it's simply not credible that only one commenter brought up the latest CashCall news.
(Casey - word of advice if you're reading this: you might want to drop 'CashCall' as an ASW. You know, what with it reminding people and all)
Duane, while I respect everything you've done in the past few weeks, I must ask - if "gaming the system" to generate traffic were so easy, why wouldn't everybody be doing it? If Marty can truly drive "Massive Traffic" then surely he can attract "Massive ad revenues". Which would actually make him more valuable than the copyright thief and snake oil salesman he really is. I understand you have a lot of information which has yet to be revealed, but this one seems a little off. Does he have 100 friends writing positive comments and clicking all around IAFF all day?
Broward at realmeme made a pretty good case that Marty Stewart is in control of a botnet. That would explain the traffic surge.

Marty didnt just leave the Casey stuff out there... there are nuggets that you can find...im surprised people havent thus far.
Also, theres and old saying that traffic creates traffic. So gaming the traffic system will hopefully lead to other real traffic. The reason why everyone doesnt do it - its considered black hat... from an SEO standpoint, you risk getting all your urls pulled from the serps..
Once you land on the blacklist your site is dead. Notice how none of Martys sites come up in any natural organic terms?
Casey brags about his foreclosure ranking on Google... if the people keep gaming the system, that too is gone...

Duane thanks for clearing that up. I'm not totally on the ball with this stuff. In other words, I'm not a computer guy.
Anyway that being said, other than a small surge from the recent media, Casey shouldn't be looking at a big traffic pull - there's zero content. They're gonna try and pump that book out as quickly as possible. It should be comedy gold. Christ I still laugh hysterically at the cover and title. How can they be proud of that?? I mean COME ON!?
Don't worry Casey, we Haterz won't be too disappointed when things start to turn around for you...
