There Was A Crooked Boy Who Bought 8 Crooked...

Financial Transperancy…

I’m still renewing all my old advertisers so I don’t have an accurate monthly figure yet. As always I will continue being very open and transparent with my finances.

1. Casey has steadfastly kept secrets. Even from his wife. There is worse than opacity in this regard.

2. Casey is not renewing all old advertisers. This is just a lie.

3. Casey doesn't have accurate figures ever.

4. He thinks he can live and travel the world on $1000/mo.

5. He thinks his family can live on $1000/mo. AND pay off "his" debt.

The Caseyworld reality distortion field continues to expand and engulf ever larger regions of sanity. This public service message brought to you by the Haterz™ at EN who remind you that everything he says is a lie. Friends don't let friends be Casey.

As for actual content, anyone want to start a betting pool as to when the fuzz finally catches up w/KC? Better yet, which country's fuzz will wake up and put down their donuts long enough to slap the handcuffs on our favorite little fugitive?

My bet: January '09, somewhere in Thailand. The FBI will catch him w/local Thai LE as proxies when they finally move around enough jelly-stained papers in their Sac office to realize there's one that evaded their laser-like sights. *snerk*

The US legal and law enforcement system may be an international laughingstock over this affair but there are some who still have enough self respect to not let this happen to them. They won't arrest him for mortgage fraud but they will "hold" him for the illegal importation of non native species or some other silly infraction until the family can scrape up the considerable fine and plane ticket money back to the states. Yet another round of collateral damage.

Anonymous said...

I think he will make it as far as Thailand, but I also think this story will end sooner than 09--I think it will be January 2008 at the latest.

I also think he will degrade himself much more than he has in the past. Given Casey's penchant for being a mark, and given what others have mentioned about the--um--underbelly of life abroad, he needs to be very careful.

Unfortunately, because he never listens, and he doesn't tell the truth, I don't think that this is going to end well.

Anonymous said...

Did you see Casey's new photos? I can't make this up. He's becoming a monkey.

I guess he's preparing for Monkey Dance 2: Outback Style.

Rob,
You are getting more and more esotric and it is getting weird. Can you please explain this from the last post:

"On and on. The Dark Crystal will heal. The Skeksis will ascend."

WTF? Is that some old Dungeons and Dragons code words or something?

Okay, I googled, and now get it - but I don't. You're quoting from the movie the Dark Crystal???

Please explain...maybe I'm stupid and the only one not getting these references so help me out.

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately I don't think Casey will have any legal consequences for the mortgage fraud. The evidence is out for everyone to see, the confessions fly straight from the horse's mouth, and yet law enforcement apparently doesn't care about $2.2M obtained fraudulently.

We'll probably have to settle for watching his life spiral down the drain. It's a pretty good consolation prize.

Man, looking at shithead's new pics on flickr...I just have to laugh,. It is all so staged, so fake...so sad.

G**** is viewing these pic back in her little 2 room rented out apartment after working 2+ jobs to pay off some debt, and her "loving" husband is off playing the loney tourist.

I hope she cheats on him. It would be sweet justice. I hope he comes home and she has moved on and is with a better man and he is left wondering what the heck happened. "Sweet" justice.

Only way to make that better would be to post the pics of G**** with her new man on flickr but we know she won't do that b/c she is private. Good for her. Just would love the irony...

One has to wonder who is taking these photos where Snowtard is playing monkey boy or posing as a tourist?

Is he just getting someone on the street to snap them?

Oh yea, get a fucking haircut.

"Oh yea, get a fucking haircut. "

I think he's trying to look like a hobo. That way he can monetize his shabby appearance so he can hold out a change cup and collect sweet passive income.

Sputnik, you nailed it as Hungry Jack's on Parramatta Road. Not that we didn't know he was in Sydney already anyway.

It is, by the way, in Ashfield (I think), just before you get to the corner of Great North Road where you'd turn right to go to Drummoyne (see the sign in the background, but might not be able to read it on his photo).

And yes, the shaggy daggy little bludger needs a haircut... but that's all part of his new homeless look.

@Bio
Rob puts much thought into his posts, and sometimes the meaning is impossible to decipher until events have unfolded...he's also been known to dabble in wild goose chases and red herring dishes.

Foreshadowing? Maybe. Maybe not. Sometimes it's just what it is, decorations and a nod to a favorite movie or book.

Not everything is what it seems, not all alliances are holy, and everything is not as organic as it might appear to be. Just because something isn't talked about, doesnt mean it's over.

See? I can be cryptic too! :)

Since Casey updated his advertisers, it looks like he will make $3000 this month.

So Casey might be able to live on $1000/month assuming he gets another $1000/month in "walking around money" from advertising and gets suckers to mooch off for his living expenses.

Galina can also probably live on $1000/month assuming she continues to work 2 jobs to pay her expenses.

And his lenders will probably make do with $0/month, but what the hec. Thhey can raise rates on the rest of us.

I have seen nothing to change my initial assessment.

It's disappointing to consider but I think that Snowflake will fade away rather than burn out.

I've only been following the drama for a week and the only interest this holds for me is the attention The Haterz give him. Granted, he's a goober, but I think he's getting more credit than he deserves. I doubt he plans anything in advance - we know he's not proactive...he's always either reactive or sloactive.

The sponge is almost wrung. 14:57 and counting....

Anonymous said...

Other than where in the world is Casey Serin, are we still having fun here? I have pretty much decided to stop following this story. And it's a shame, because he did provide an amusement from the daily grind.

His blog has become a bore (with someone else doing his writing), we know he will fail again in whatever he attempts, and quite frankly I keep asking myself why I keep coming back here. The thrill is gone.

I wish we still had some excting drama, but alas, I don't see anything juicy on the horizon for a looong time.

Anonymous said...

Wow was everyone off base. New post up at IAFF and he claims someone is going to buy the blog for $100,000, yes that is right. You have to read what he wants to do with the $100k. I think I am going to offer him the equity investment with GUARANTEED 5% MONTHLY return!

My question is who are the Haterz that are stringing him along with these numbers?

And one last thing, Casey didn't write that post, Mary is really digging deep!

The Caseyworld reality distortion field continues to expand and engulf ever larger regions of sanity.

Shouldn't that be "INsanity"? :)

As in Casey posting, "Here's a picture of my new luxury hotel room" with a photo of a padded cell with restraints on the bed. "The doctors come in twice a day to inject me with some sweet juice. IT'S ALL GOOD!"

Tach said...

Casey also claimed he was going to broker a deal for Circus Circus and innumberable other things that weren't within the same reality as the rest of us.

He claims he can get a 5% return per month on $1000 dollars. For those of us who can do math (ie not Casey), that's 60% return per year. Other than loaning out money and having someone going around breaking legs to collect the vig, that's not going to happen.

Anonymous said...

I am anxiously awaiting the next post from Nigel. I appreciate the way he builds the suspense with his "more on this in my next post".

Amazing he knew all this derogatory casey shit all this time and only turned on him when Casey said "Nigel brings nothing to the table".

Even Casey gets it right once in awhile!

serinitis said...

Even if someone was to put $200,000 in cash on the table in front of him, he would not sell. He is already calculating on getting $6000/month from advertising + $1000s more from foreclosure services so he will make $200,000 in a little over a year. And even more next year.

He claims he can get a 5% return per month on $1000 dollars. For those of us who can do math (ie not Casey), that's 60% return per year.

Work on your math! It works out to about 79.6% APR.

But either value is irrelevant because it just indicates a massive Ponzi scheme.

And he's being scammed at $100k for that blog, I would guess. Not only that, he wonders what he could do with the money (if it magically appeared)? Well, how about making 96% on your money... by paying back CashCall???

But that would be boring, even more boring than his blog has been lately.

Eric said...

Nova Sideliner,

That's true, but I think we can all agree that 79.6% return doesn't equal the 89% APR Cashcall is getting.

READ NIGEL'S POSTS. THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN OUTED AS A SCAM. THAT WOULD MAKE MY FUCKING DAY TO SEE BITCHBOY SELL HIS BLOG FOR 100K ONLY TO HAND IT OVER TO SOME SCAMMERS!

Anonymous said...

I think the only way to translate Casey's post is that someone offered him a lot of money for his blog, and he sold it to Marty for a very small percentage of the other offer. This probably happened around the time he stopped writing his posts.

Mouse And Pencil said...

$100K?

Gee...that's exactly the same amount Nigel said he was going to invest in the scam with G Money Man, but from Hammar Sweet Credit™.

He claimed THAT deal would pay off in the exact same numbers he's now babbling about, thus, I would tend to suspect, he's bent on doing that deal with G Money Man.

Yes, the money - if it's even there - that could be used to pay off most of the cc debt and pay for lawyers and rent and stuff...will be thrown down the Rabbit Hole just like every other time, and Casey will have pissed away yet another opportunity, and will be a failure yet again.

LOL.

Go for it Casey!

Anonymous said...

My brother is a very well-regarded e-marketing exec at the Walt Disney Company, and swears that anyone who pays more than $5K for the domain name is wasting their money. So the $100K offer is either (a) completely untrue, (b) scamalicious, or (c) from someone even more clueless than Casey.

Eric said...

I still love how he says he will settle his debt for "pennies on the dollar". Sadly, this is not to be confused with "every dirty penny" that he's agreed to pay back.

Perhaps Casey can double down on his investment portfolio of penny gold stocks, it has worked out well so far, why not?

Anonymous said...

Casey is a Randolph Dupree. Maybe he'll be able to sell his "Caseyness"

Eric said...

Confirmed information...maybe

It is true. Casey does have an offer for $100,000. The problem is, the buyer will be traveling to Nigeria for a few weeks. He will be sending the money to Casey via a money order. Not only that, but he is also going to write the check for $200,000 and let Casey keep, $50,000 if he sends back $50,000 to the Nigerian account (cash back at close).

This is the first time I am posting on any Casey related site. But I had to wonder at your statement. I know some people that follow the story too. We are not necessarily Casey Fans but what you say above is how we view the Casey Fans.

However it is also how we view YOU too...the haterz. I mean you guys don't offer much either. You are just as nasty to him. I mean look at what you need to Nigel. Now he is your best buddy all of a sudden. Its all pathetic on both sides.

BTW I enjoy your site relating to some Casey issues in relation to housing. I also like other topics you post on other subjects. But why you would allow this to be the place ANY idiot can squat behooves me? I even saw someone make nasty reference to YOUR children. Is it worth the clicks or infamy. Reminds me a lot of some of the things you accuse Casey of.

Escuse my ramblings because I guess your readers will now also call me a "troll" the way Casey calls you guys "haterz" and insult me for speaking my mind. What a pity!

Anonymous said...

Hey Swamp Donkey, you're right; that's why I mentioned CashCall.

But for CashCall and their "sweet passive income" , its only sweet and passive if you get paid back!

Seems that CashCall is having to shift from passive income to active income collections.

Casey doesn't have the means to shift from passive if the Ponzi boys steal his money, so he'd be looking at nothing but a fat passive loss -- but nothing unusual there.

Anyway, even if all the crap Casey spouts is true, yes, he is indeed better off financially paying off CashCall's 96% loan.

But he won't ever pay that off because he's a gambler out instead for the really big win.

Mouse And Pencil said...

I could see someone stupid enough to buy the domain, because the new boom supposedly is making money off of the huge number of foreclosures coming down the pike - the vultures are circling before the beats has even begin to breath it's last. The foreclosure hlep spam is starting, i got some last night, and the I'll bet you there are vast numbers of late night TV infomercials being filmed as I type this.

Casey is obviously being influenced by Marty and the other bottom feeder jizzbuckets that he can position himself as some kind of "foreclsure guru", even though he has nothing to bring to the table. The one thing that will dash Casey's hope for guruhood is that he has nothing - no real experience, no real knowledge, no real advice, and no moral standing to advise ANYONE on anything.

Even the stupid people will see through his bullshit pretty quick.

Don't worry, Casey will fuck this up, just like he fucks everything up. It's his nature. You could hand Casey everthing his shriveled little black heart could ever want, and he'd fuck it up somehow.

I have no doubt there's another woman out there who will buy all this crap. Almost every guy you see captured on America's Most Wanted has a ditzy woman hanging off of him who is totally convinced that her new boyfriend didn't kill all those people on purpose and this is all a big misunderstanding.

It sounds to me like Casey is running out of money. Why sell if he's got such sweet passive ad income? So he can get a lump sum to "invest" in an equity fund? He doesn't even know what that means.

And he needs to hire someone to negotiate his debts? After Mark already did it pro bono? I know Mark didn't negotiate his unsecured debt, but he certainly could have made some good referrals.

Casey is just performing a higher level beg-a-thon.

'The offers are over $100,000 at this point.'

Amazing, the magic of the Internet - where no one knows whose a dog.

'Either way I need to do something with the “equity” in this blog and could use an investor/partner.'

Yes, I can see how an equity investor could use leverage to enhance your passive income - very passive, almost flat on your back napping, daydreaming, so to speak, in a very creative frame of mind. Very creative - who wouldn't buy a chance at future gold from a turn around story waiting to happen.

'So what can I do with $100,000?'

A more interesting question for other people, though, is what they can do with $100,000.

'Depending on the deal I may end up blogging here indefinitely (with proper compensation or benefits) to keep things juicy and keep the drama going.'

I remained awed - this is just free entertainment to me, but it certainly would be a goal to strive for using massive action to also be paid proper compensation or benefits for participating in a blog worth over $100,000.

By the way, I'm staying with a friend in Australia for a sweeeet last-minute opportunity to get away for a couple of weeks and get some focused business done. Should be coming home soon. Here are some pics:

Not that I care either way if fliptard can sell his blog, but here's the kicker for him. If he sells, a seller of reasonable competence would require fliptard to sign a non-compete agreement, which is something I think Duane was going to make him do. Fliptard would never go for that, or if he did, he would eventually violate it. He's a media whore and would have a difficult not blogging about himself.

Anonymous said...

SmellyPogoStick, I think you are quite off....

Disney would never have to buy Disney .com as they would always be able to get it through their trademark. Jurisprudence gives more and more rights to the trademark holders against domain grabbers. The only scenario I see would be a brand new company trying to get the trademark AND the corresponding domain name. Here again it will depend on the content of the domain at the time of trademarking. If that site is just a domain parking, the new trademark owner will have very good chances of getting that domain through the courts.

No domain that is without content should be worth more then 5K as many many names can be made famous trough good marketing. IAFF is not in the category of "famous" domains. It does not have any authority a part from it's Google rankings which could vanish anytime.

The only domains that are worth money are domains that already have a history and are stamped into the mids of the common internet user (cf. Napster)

Similar, yes. It makes sense for a buyer to keep Casey on board because he's the draw. Unless you really know what you're doing it doesn't make sense to pay more than about 30k for it.

Oh that doesn't matter? well I didn't have much notice that i was going to post that otherwise I would have let you know... Ok well I guess things just didn't work out".

Casey will NOT give up his fame, for any price. He'll try and negotiate an investor type thing.

Which, as usual, he will fuck up.

So if I'm interpreting this correctly, he's entertaining offers of $100K+, but he's asking for help to make that happen. So has anyone really offered him $100K for the blog? No, because he would have cashed out by now. And by saying he would want to partially cash out would mean he wanted to still blog and not sign a non-compete.

Aside: If fliptard leveraged himself properly he would be a contributing member of society.

It still seems unbelievable to me; the amount of selfishness and gall this little ape-boy has to be touring the countryside, taking snapshots, seeing the sites, stopping at public libraries to blog... the life of Reilly.

Meanwhile, Galina is at home, dealing with the direct aftermath of his actions, the stress, the scrutiny, the collection calls and God only knows what else.

There is something deeply disgusting about that.

These things are difficult to say openly without exposing too much to the opposition. However I can say that I’ve compiled supportive evidence, am in contact with Fraud Investigators for two of Casey’s lenders, and am preparing an official report (as friend of the court) to the California AG’s Office.

Now while it’s speculative to say in what time frames those sources may act, I’ll add that another aspect will likely be engaged sometime next week (with immediate consequences). No promises, but that’s my goal.

@9:40 Anon...

Play this thought experiment with me.

Imagine that the "Disney Tire Company", with a registered "Disney" trademark in the field of tires, was the current holder of "disney.com".

Remember: A trademark is not the exclusive right to use a name, it is the exclusive right to use a name within a certain field of business.

Now imagine that the Disney Tire Company was willing to put the name up for sale.

How much would the Walt Disney Company be willing to pay?

Another thought experiment, less fictional.

Imagine that United Airlines decided to sell the "united.com" domain, without any content whatsoever.

Are you saying that neither United Van Lines, United Artists, United Parcel Service, United Colors of Benetton, United Way, or any other holder of a trademark with the word "United" in it would pay more than $5k for it?

First, I call bs on the $100K crap. If he really had a firm offer for that blog that was that high, I'd imagine the person making it would be PISSED AS HELL that he trolled for a higher offer online, dragging out the closing of the deal.

So if he did have a legit offer, I'd say he just blew it.

Two, the ONLY reason Casey (the world's largest attention whore) would sell his blog, would be if there was a serious legal threat. I'd guess Galina, Mark, or somebody else is going to go after the blog, and Casey thinks that by selling the blog he can avoid them getting it.

All he's doing is throwing himself into even more of a legal quagmire than he's already in, if that's the case.

@SmellyPogoStick: the point the anon with the Disney brother is making is that no-one in their right minds would pay more than $5k for IAFF. As it's not a brand name in the same league as Disney, Cola, United etc.

From my point of view (I dabble in this area myself) I'd put a tentative valuation for the domain - with content, sans KC - of between $5000 and $15000, which are ball-park figures mentioned by others. It's of reasonable SEO use and with some revenue potential - but with little proven, verifiable and stable performance history, and is also heavily tainted as far as both AdSense and Yahoo go (which represent by far and away the easiest revenue channels, as they entail no further costs for acquiring ads).

However, I wouldn't touch it anyway - it would mean having to deal with that waste of organic material, and we all know where that leads.

It appears to me that the plans of the dynamic duo really haven't changed much. None of the reveals to date has actually thrown a wrench into the works. The main effort continues to be to drive traffic. Daddy-o probably has a good estimate (from past experience) of what his conversion rate will be when the e-book goes live, his goal is simply to engineer a traffic peak just as that happens.

Daddy-o and Snowflake do not have the same long term interests. Daddy-o will be perfectly happy to burn down IAFF.com, so long as he can get his weenies roasted before the fire burns out.

Also, can someone tell me where I can get this high-yield fund with 5% monthly returns? I can put together $100,000 right now, and according to a compound interest calculator, after 5 years it will be worth at least a million bucks, maybe more depending how often the interest is payed out. Here's the thing people need to realize. Right now the only reason people are going to IAFF is to see Casey's train wreck. If he someone managed to get out of his mess, the traffic would decrease. As humans, we like to see tragedy. That's why we slow down when we see accidents and continue at our normal speed if there's a car with a flat tire on the side of the road. If there's room for tragedy, we enjoy it. So for someone to invest 50K into IAFF is silly. Once Casey is gone or clear of debt his traffic will die down. Why throw away 30-50K for traffic that won't be there?

Second, if you were Disney and disney.com was taken already, you wouldn't pay 100K+ for the doman. You would simply create a different domain such as disneycompany, disneyco, disneyresorts, etc and market that. Two reasons for this. A) if you are starting out, you can select the stuff you market and advertise. You can get people to remember the "co" or "resorts" on the end of your domain or B)if you were are large as Nike or Disney, you would have already had the domain or an alternative domain that has obviously been working for you.

Anonymous said...

"and am preparing an official report (as friend of the court) to the California AG’s Office."

Please excuse my feeble troll mind, but aren't amicus curiae briefs generally filed with the court after some sort of court proceedings have taken place?

How exactly are you filing one with the AG before the AG has actually taken Casey to court?

Again, excuse me if I am missing something, but it doesn't make any sense to me with my limited knowledge of court procedures, and only the burning light of the internet to guide me.

Print Email Suggest a Story
The right to more than 200 popular Internet domain names went to the highest bidder at an auction last night - with a couple fetching more than $1 million each.

Some of the domains auctioned off at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 42nd St., were innocent-sounding, like grandmothers.com and pinkroses.com. Others were more suggestive, like lips.com, lick.com and beerkegs.com.

Many domain names went for thousands of dollars, but some, such as creditcheck.com and seniors.com, brought in more than $1 million.

The auction drew hundreds of Internet investors. Victorious bidders will either develop the site or resell the name.

Investor Howard Neu plunked down $8,000 for the rights to irishwhiskey.com, calling it a name that had "good commercial value."

Shaun Pilfold, 50, paid $135,000 for lips.com.

"We'll probably sell lipstick," Pilfold said

what mouth-breather types a domain name into a browser anymore? Back in the late 90's domain names maybe had some value, when search was non-existent.

It's much more valuable to have ranking in search results. And even if the domain name is part of Google's ranking formula, there are ~200 variables in that formula.

Most of those variables are there to outfox SEO's, and there are whole tracks at the top academic conferences addressing link-fraud and click-fraud detection.

Um, he's not breaking the law? At least he's not committing violent crimes or dealing drugs or in jail. Casey would say that the money he's spending right now enjoying himself is a drop in a bucket compared to how much he owes, so why get upset about a drop?

From the first entry in his blog I read, he sounded like he was a criminal attempting to find a borderline legal way of getting rich. His methods of fraud became more and more overt as he dug a deeper hole for himself. The only time he had money in his pockets was when he lied someone out of some sweet cash.

Now that he's run his present marriage and frauds as far as they can benefit him, I completely expect him to continue to live the rest of his life as a full time fraudster. He'll get caught and spend a year or two in jail every so often, then he'll be back out to con new suckers out of their money. He might even write a "Catch Me If You Can" kind of book (people love real crime books) to show everyone how smart he is. There's just nothing else he's capable of.

As long as he's not committing violent crimes, society will reward him with light sentences and infamy.

Anonymous said...

Correct me if I am wrong, but even if Casey 'did' find a buyer for his blog and even if that sum was $100k, wouldn't the proceeds from the sale immediately go to his creditors? Not to mention capital gains taxes.

So assuming he loses 30% to tax (just a ball park figure here), the remaining $70k could easily have a lean placed against it by creditors (especially CashCall) to ensure they were able to recover some of their losses. Not to mention that he owes his corporation money that was also borrowed.

So even a lump sum of $100k would have negligable effect on his overall situation. His debt load would still be hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I may be wrong, but if someone now owns his blog, aren't they now entitled to the proceeds from the ad sales? So that would dry up Casey's "sweet" passive income.

Not sure if fliptard has bothered to do all that math. He's probably too dazzled by the prospect of $100k to realize anything else.

His latest claim is that he is getting $100K offers for his blog. I believe that when I see the pig fly by my window, but it gets even better.

Moron goes on to speculate that he could invest this $100K in a "high yield" mutual fund that returns 5% per month and live off the swet passive income. That's right, PER MONTH.

LOLOLOLOL

Poor snowflake really has no idea how the financial world works. 5%/month comes out to around 256% annualized return based on compounded interest. Sorry Snowflake, not much chance of finding a "high yield" fund that hits that lofty goal, ROFL.

What a misguided fool.

Casey is looking for a partner and is thinking about selling the blog. Sounds like his partnership with Marty has fallen apart?

@rick: 5%/month comes out to around 256% annualized return based on compounded interest.

More like 80%, but either way it's ridiculous. If someone is promising him 5% a month, he is, yet again, being scammed.

Um, he's not breaking the law?

Uh, you kind of missed the point.

It isn't about the law, it's about common decency and his lacking it completely.

@Why?
I wrote my answer to you on the first Harvard thread. I have no obligation to someone as wholly unimportant to me as you are. Keep blathering, it won't make you relevant.

I'd have more respect for a drug dealer.

I reckon you don't have drug dealers in your neighborhood like I do. I'd gladly exchange one of those guys to have harmless Casey stumble around here taking pictures. I'd be happy to find Jamba Juice cups in my bushes instead of used syringes.

Hopefully it doesn't get too crazy in here before Mark explains how he is filing a friend of the court brief before anything has gone to trial.

If casey did make 100K, he would go into IRS ignore mode, lenders ignore mode, creditors ignore mode, wife's debt ignore mode, and cashcall ignore mode. Then he would proceed to invest in something stupid like more penny stock or swampland on the moon. Yep, he would blow that 100K just as easily as he did the banks' 2.2 million.

Creditards newest post...................BBWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I’ve been talking with people in the last several weeks about selling this “internationally infamous” foreclosure blog. The offers are over $100,000 at this point. Still trying to see how serious people are and making sure the blog will fall into good hands.

I also have some opportunities to sell-off partial ownership and stay on as a partner to develop this blog/site further to ride the huge foreclosure wave that is coming. Either way I need to do something with the “equity” in this blog and could use an investor/partner. I’m open to all offers and ideas.

So what can I do with $100,000?

Pay down or settle debt - both foreclosure related and unsecured debt…

Thing is… 100 grand can do a lot of damage to my mountain of debt. I figure I have about 170K or so of unsecured debt plus whatever I end up owing after all the foreclosures get sold by the banks that reposed them (200-300K?).

I hear I can settle the debt for much less then what I owe. “Pennies on the dollar” maybe? I may have to hire an expert debt negotiator for that.

Or invest into a high-yield fund for passive income…

Alternatively, 100 grand can produce some SWEEET passive income if invested into a nice equity fund with monthly returns of 5% or more. That would accomplish my passive income goal I set back in 2000 when I graduated high school.

This income would give me some peace of mind for once and help me start paying down debt as well as focus on other income producing activities like brokering big juicy deals.

Would I continue blogging? What about the advertisers? What about The Foreclosure Code book?

If I sell, advertisers will stay and continue getting great exposure. I’m sure selling the blog for 100 grand or more will create some great additional coverage. Plus, I would not just completely stop blogging here.

My agreement with the new owner or equity partner will include me blogging for at least an extra month or two to let people know how things are going with the transition and what not. Depending on the deal I may end up blogging here indefinitely (with proper compensation or benefits) to keep things juicy and keep the drama going. And if not here I will be blogging elsewhere.

I will also make sure I will have the ability to market my upcoming foreclosure book here and what not.

I’m glad I didn’t kill it… potential of this blog

Even through all the drama, I’m sure glad I kept this foreclosure blog going. There is A LOT of value in this blog that some people don’t see (and sometimes I don’t see), provided it’s leveraged correctly.

My goal has always been to do something good with all this exposure - help people in foreclosure, make money to take care of my family and of course continue to position myself for bigger and better things.

Also, I realize that I am under-utilizing the potential of this blog, the search engine positioning and all the exposure. I could be doing a lot more but I have been so busy and distracted with the financial pressure that it has been hard.

My financial situation is so tight right now that selling some or all of the equity in this blog is a smart idea, I believe.

As long as the blog goes into good hands or I take on a financial partner that has a similar goal as I do: truly help people facing foreclosure. It’s OK to make a ton of money in the process but it’s NOT OK to screw people.

Some things to consider…

Google PageRank 5 as of last update. This will most likely jump to 6 or 7 because of all the great inbound links that continue to be formed, (especially from the media).
Alexa Rank of 30,915 and getting better every day.
Almost 10,000 daily visitors / 20,000 daily page views and growing. Looking at the traffic chart there has been outstanding growth in the last 9 months. And even though I was down for a quarter of this month the numbers for June are still very strong. (When the blog was down the traffic meter was off.)
Advertisers love it! Because of SEO benefits, brand recognition and good traffic, my advertisers see a lot of value to advertise on this blog. My Sweet Links section was sold out in a matter of days back when I first introduced it with only 10 spots at $100/month. Now I’m upto $150/month with 25 spots and they’re selling like hotcakes still. Premium ads at $500/month are goind strong too with continue interest. I see those selling out soon too.
Over $6,000/month just from direct ads once all the spots are filled. This doesn’t include doing a banner across the top for an extra $1,000-3,000/month and other ideas I had. The Google AdSense brings in an extra $1,000+/month (once the anti-click-fraud plugin is installed) and inline text ads are doing another grand a month or so. With a little bit of time and work this is easily a $10,000+/month blog.
Huge potential for leads: foreclosure consulting, shortsale, refinancing etc. Even without offering any kind of a “foreclosure help” service I get 4-10 emails per week asking for help. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to help much because I don’t have a system setup yet and I don’t have a lot of expertise to help aside from my personal experience. If the blog is to be reconfigured to cater to people in foreclosure I can see 20-100 leads per week from the current stream!
Top ranking for keywords. This blog comes up on the first page of Google for the terms “foreclosure” and “hardship letter”. The term “short sale” has been gaining ground also and I believe is on the 2nd or 3rd page right now (The results are slightly different in Australia). There are a bunch of other great terms that I come up under. If you’re interested I’ll give you a whole list. With more focused content creation and SEO strategies, we can get even higher organic placement and grab more keywords.
More Sweet Media and Coverage If I stay on as a partner, I will continue being open and welcoming of any media coverage or sweet linkage from other websites. I find that by being open and honest about what I’m trying to do, people are willing to put me in the spot light. I have a genuine desire to make something good out of all this and I think others pick up on it.
Gigantic foreclosure wave is just starting! If you are smart I don’t need to convince you of the trends. The huge amount of sub-prime adjustable-rate mortgages and other craziness in the lending industry is going to create the biggest wave of foreclosures world-wide in the history of man kind!! Lots of people are going to need help.
So the opportunity is ripe. Feel free to contact me with offers upwards of $100,000 or any creative joint venture ideas that will allow me to cash out a sizable chunk of that.

If I was doing better financially I would NOT want to sell but simply hire people and grow this blog into a monster foreclosure helping machine. However, right now I gotta do what I gotta do. I’ve been blessed with all this exposure and it’s time to cash-in on it a little bit.

That plus the money from the upcoming Foreclosure book should help me make a pretty sweet comeback.

But hey, if I don’t choose to sell it, then I will continue telling me foreclosure story and developing this blog into something positive on my own. It’s all good!

. . .

Ok, I finally added some more sweet Aussie pics!

What's really funny is many of us W-2 loosers make more than $100,000 a year of "active" income. Damn, why do we keep on slaving at our jobs when we could just plop a year's salary into the bank and live off the interest like our hero Casey would? We must be the morons!

I'd consider Casey a drug dealer..both are manipulative, liars, cheaters and theives.

Uh, I hate to bring up any past acquaintances, but, er, well... the drug dealers I knew, or, ahem, the people I knew who were thought to perhaps be drug dealers were not manipulative, and certainly not cheats and thieves, not to their suppliers, not to their customers, nor their casual acquaintances.

To be otherwise could be a life-changing mistake in that field of self-employment. Liars, yes, I give you that, especially to authorities, since what they were doing, er, ahem, might have been though to be doing, was quite unlawful.

Casey has them beat by a mile (in the wrong direction) on all those counts, though. He just doesn't have the violence streak that some of those guys have, which maybe is about the only redeeming part of his character..

I'm thinking of having my holding company, Rammah, offer him $10,000 a month in perpetuity in return for the domain and a non-compete. That's WAY better than 5% on a mere 100k.

I'd post the offer at IAFF but, with moderation so pokey there and CS reading here, I'm sure he'll see it sooner here.

Emails to sweetpassiveincome@rammah.biz

Knowing you, you would dump the money into some scam and lose it all.

Agreed. As Nigel and others have noted, that 5% per month 'fund' is NOT legitimate and you will lose all your $ if you invest in it. But hey, feel free to go ahead and try it.

Plus -- as was pointed out in Declan's interview -- as an almost-broke blogger, you're essentially judgement-proof. If you sell the blog for some real $$$, your creditors will be lining up the lawsuits to get their hands on your windfall. The only way you could keep the cash would be to stay out of the US indefinitely and to have the money paid into an offshore bank.

Good luck with that.

So assuming he loses 30% to tax (just a ball park figure here), the remaining $70k could easily have a lean placed against it by creditors (especially CashCall) to ensure they were able to recover some of their losses. Not to mention that he owes his corporation money that was also borrowed.

- Come on, you think Casey pays taxes? You think he's paid taxes on any advertisement income? That is a good joke though.

Your post is reasonable, objective and well put wiht good points. I doubt any of the regular posters would call that a trolling post.

:::::::::::::::

Without the Haterz, Casey would be NOTHING! These people have given him the opportunities he currently has. If not for the Haterz he would have shut down his blog

For months and months we offered him excellent advice, mixed with snarky mean stuff, but really valid, objective good advice.

When he held his beg-a-thon some here gave him money.

Most importantly we gave him our attention and our clicks.

Casey has lied and disenbled and done everything he could to thwart his loyal readers.....HE turned them into haterz by his actions. We do not purport to offer much.

We do try our best to legally screw up everything that Casey does. Why? Because he deserves to be exposed for the theiving liar that he is. We view it as a public service to help those who come in contact with Casey to see that there is no future in any relationship with him.

I think Marty's trying to flip the blog.

Here's the thing: Casey *supposedly* brought the blog back because Marty put the screws to him. (Oh, the fun we can have with that phrase...) Of course, there was the $1000 from the Canadian, but we'll ignore that for now.

NOW, he's trying to sell the blog? Doesn't add up. If Marty has a contract in place that can "force" Casey to continue blogging, at the expense of his family, then shouldn't Marty be able to stop Casey from selling the blog because it's an integral part of the marketing for the "book"?

So, either Marty purchased the blog and is now writing as Casey and at the same time is trying to flip it to someone else for probably many tens of thousands more OR Casey's going to sell it and Marty will get a cut.

Either, way, the whole thing stinks to high heaven, as does everything Casey does.

I seriously doubt he'll get $100k for it, though. He can't prove revenues at all. He can sit there and speculate and punch numbers into Calculator. But that's just him making numbers up. Until the "cash" is in the "bank" consistently for many months in a row, he's got no proof that the blog is worth $100k.

I think $30-40k would be a maximum value, given the rankings and traffic. Media exposure has been more about Casey than the blog. If Casey has no financial interest in the blog, any media attention he receives will not be directed to the blog. From there, the existing media attention will fade away very quickly. In a matter of months. Then the blog will be left standing on its own, so the new owner will have to get to work immediately to make the blog pay for itself...

So the Ubid post for IAFF came down when it hit $100,000. I thought it was pulled for not being authentic but now I wonder....

The person now writing his blog stinks. I can't help wondering if he handed it over to Marty with his haterbait formula so that he could win over G.

It's really funny all these people thinking the FBI would go after this guy.

There are millions of people out there who overstated their income on mortgage applications on stated income loans. Even with the few bucks he got in cash back at closing. It's really nothing really in the overall scheme of things. Thousands and thousands are now going into foreclosure.

Casey's 8 little buys are nothing really. This fish is waaaay too small to fry.

Further, why does everybody think that Casey needs to support Galina? She's an adult, she's a big girl, she can work, she can make money. Remember, husbands walk from their wives all the time. And the other way around.

I don't buy this "I must provide for my wife" mentality. In fact, I would never want a woman that overly dependent.
