Human Branding

While we all wait for this morning's assemblage of verified facts I thought we could help Casey out with his branding scheme. If Casey Serin is going to be a brand He's gonna need a motto and sloagans and stuff. "Serindipittyshit" springs to the fore. "Don't be a Casey" works also. As far as real branding a nice big "Fx8" in the center of his forehead might serve as public notice and a warning. Come on, somebody can surely do better than "In Casey of Foreclosure drink wheatgrass."
N.B. I'll be back in an hour or so hopefully with the next installment ready to go.

In response to Rob's claim that the Wet Eye weapon has been expunged from the Internet, I present
this evidence

Short version is that it's a MK-116 Nerve Gas Bomb containing 347 pounds (that's POUNDS) of nerve gas agent.

I agree that it's been pretty well hushed up, but this only took me about 10 minutes to track down.

Of course it is then going to take me an hour to 2 just to get caught up. Then I can start working on the side job, yes KC I am keeping a W2 while creating my side business. This is all seriously cutting into me F(*&$#@ Off time!

Did anyone save pointers to Aspeth's posts on the Kangatard's bookmarks, especially all those online marketing BS sites? I'm sure there's plenty of stupid slogans he could steal from them for his 'campaign'. So he too can be successful in trading his worthless materials for those of every other bozo who has gone before him and they can all have their own circle jerk for a pittance, er 'affilliate marketing program' to spam all our inboxes with.

Oh and when I say steal, I mean "steal", just like the $$$ for the foreclosed houses and the credit card smoking fest and other people's photos and posts, not to mention whatever he can bilk from Galina and the Serin and Suprun families.

I have a job and can't write much today - huge deadline looming.

However, it is funny, when you go back - Casey submitted a chapter to "Ramit's" e-book that we were able to determine he plagerized....

Rob (or anyone) go ahead and "cut and paste" anything from stupidbrain's (my new name for snowflake)website... just be sure to give "credit" for it originating from the website....

An example would be:

Hey folks, the following was posted at IAFF by Casey, who wrote:

"Just finished making a few more edits to the post… my connection here is cutting in and out so I’m a little slow to respond.

Plus my moderator Nigel Swaby who actually did a very good job moderating in the last few weeks is no longer here to help me. I thought I can trust him, but I guess not.

I would ask for more moderators to help out but I don’t really know if I can trust ANYBODY anymore!

And I didn’t come here to be spending hours upon hours filtering through hater comments all day long. So I will have to think about the comments and see what I can do about it.

The community is great here but I must focus on getting stuff done and producing."

----------------------------

We are not saying this is our comment or content and we are giving the author credit.....

NOW - if Casey's HATERZ comments are published in ANY BOOK or other material without the written permission of those who provided the material for which he receives material compensation.... then we need to rip hi a new one.

Why am I not surprised that this Marty Stewart character is just as shady as Casey - getting something for nothing and ripping people off!

This from one of those "get more clicks" and "revenue" from Adsense - I'll show you how scams! Marty is a testimonial in this scheme.

"Michael, In just four days, I’ve achieved an 1140% increase in my daily earnings! Thank you very much for creating these Adsense Videos. Being an “Advanced Adsense” user, and having Adsense on tens of thousands of web pages, I’m not a newbie to the Adsense game. That being said: You’ve stopped me dead in my tracks with some of your tips and tricks! My philosophy has always been to crank out as many web pages with Adsense as possible (play the numbers game). This has worked extremely well for me. You are causing me to re-think that philosophy. Seeing that you have a handful of websites producing you killer Adsense checks each month, I decided to take a step back, and shore up some of my existing websites. Your videos helped me hit an all time daily high with one of my websites – from an average of .65 cents per day, up to $7.41 per day, a whopping 1140% increase in less than one week!!!!"

Wow, I never heard of that one. Last time I saw the phrase in print, it was used as a name for some type of radar. It was in a magazine, so I don't think it was a big secret.

So Casey is in Australia? Is he a Bruce or a Sheila? Is this a joke? Do I have to read the entirety of the last twenty pages of posts and responses to get the story? And what the hell were all those MP3s I downloaded yesterday? I gots a Pavlovian condition. I see MP3s, I download 'em. 500 gigs and counting. It's an illness. the 'branding' of casey is hilarious. before he can be 'branded' for anything other than what he currently is, which is not a positive, he needs to turn his life around.

does he need to repay every dirty cent? while it would be nice, no. what he does need to do is to start making babysteps towards something positive. if his trip to down under is the start, so be it.

but if he were to be branded, i would like to see him as 'Caseylicious'. i think there are many directions he could take this brand.

Casey has left the U.S. for Australia; he is staying with unspecified "supporters" there

Casey received a gift of money from an unspecified Candadian "supporter" that allowed him to buy the plane ticket

Casey told G that he was leaving on very short notice and gave her no choice; he also cleaned out the checking account before he left

The "haterz" found a web site maintained by Casey and his publisher containing audio transcripts intended to be used for the book; that web site was very quickly shut down, but not before a few anonymous "haterz" downloaded the files and pushed them up to file-sharing services

Casey's "publisher" has been identified, and is an individual known to be involved in various multi-media ventures of a shady nature

"Anyone can fail at real estate during the downmarket period."

If you honestly believe that the real estate market is going to return to Fliptard Paradise anytime soon, you clearly know nothing about either the current state of US real estate or economics in general.

1. It's not a downmarket period. It's a bust. Plain and simple. It's the inevitable end result of any bubble whose growth is artifically fuelled, and real estate is the poster child for that. A bust is inevitable in any speculation situation, because no commodity can go up in real value indefinitely if it's constantly being bought and resold by people looking to make a profit - sooner or later, you hit a ceiling. This is why the stock market crashes every couple of decades, and this is why the housing market was overdue for a crash.

2. The brainless insanity of the housing market that Casey tried to get rich off of was fuelled almost entirely by debt. Mortgages artificially inflated the buying power of the average American, and house prices rose to match this 'increase' in wealth. When that buying power withered up as people started having trouble keeping up with their mortgages and the 'magic money' went away, you were left with a sharp disparity between house prices and what people could actually afford. The subprime mortgage boom made things worse, since it threw money at people who wouldn't be able to afford a house, period, and often had trouble making even the basic payments, creating an almost staggering inflation of perceived buying power without any real backing.

3. Which leads us to our next point: the current glut of housing. Price is dictated by demand vs. supply. When demand outstrips supply, prices go up. When supply outstrips demand, prices go down. And thanks to the waves of foreclosures and the number of housing projects started to capitalise on the real estate boom, there's plenty of supply on the market. It gets worse when you consider the adjustable rate mortgage (ARMs) "time bomb," which is bound to add countless houses to an already overstuffed market.

But demand is receding even as supply as growing. Why? Affordability. The "magic money" just isn't there any more. Subprime lenders have closed up shop by the dozens, and their losses are going to have deeper-seated impact on the financial industry as a whole.

4. When the housing bubble bursts for real, it's going to trigger a genuine recession that could take years to turn around. The level of housing debt is large enough to have serious effects on the consumer market, especially as a lot of people were using escalating real estate values to justify taking cash out to buy SUVs or other luxury goods. Now those people are going to be putting every penny into repaying the predatory mortgages that put them into houses they could not afford, which puts a real crimp on leisure spending. And they're the lucky ones - the ones who lose their houses to foreclosure aren't going to be buying anything fancy for a long while.

So, when do you think this "downmarket period" will end, Travington? When will Casey have a chance to make it big as a real estate mogul, given the current market situation? If you honestly believe a housing comeback is just around the corner, you're as deluded as the snowflake.

Thank you for the summary. It sounds absolutely insane.

It's as if Casey was cancelled by his original network, then picked up by another network, using different writers and a new production team. Everything "feels" weird.

Frequently, when a TV show nears its end and the producers become desperate to extend its life, it goes "on the road". BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, MORK AND MINDY, and countless other examples exist. Sharks are jumped in a faraway land. The Casey show has gone "on the road". Is cancellation imminent?

And one more thing: Why are so many people willing to give the fliptard money? In a nutshell, the kid got in over his head trying to jack up the price of housing for the average American consumer through fradulently obtained mortgages, then stiffed the people who lent him 2.2 million dollars so he could continue living the "good life." How the holy hell is trying to get rich by screwing John Everyman and lying through your teeth to do so laudable? People like Casey are the reason the country's heading into recession, and all of a sudden that behavior is considered worth rewarding?

Seriously, you want to be charitable? How about giving the money to me? I've got a hell of a lot more to offer to society, and unlike the snowflake, I actually went to college and spent time in the W-2 trenches. Heck, I can even crank a book out for you - not the Kiyosaki-lite real estate scam trash Marty and Snowflake are pitching, but an honest-to-goodness assessment of the underlying causes of economic growth and slowdown. Best of all, you'll get a guarantee that not one cent of your cash is going towards wheatgrass shots or dinner at Macaroni Grill. How 'bout it? Duane? Anybody?

I can testify to this, sort of. There are a ton of crazy people out there in the world. In their minds, he is an "internet superstar". He has had interviews with respected news organizations and has actually gotten quite a bit of publicity (bad or no).

You would be shocked at just how much fan mail people like that get. You know how every C-list celebrity has some random "unofficial fan site"? For every one of those, there are a thousand people who absolutely obsess over the person in question.

I don't know what the intentions of the couple in Oz are, but they could be completely innocent ("It's great to hang out with you!!! Look at how boring our life is compared to yours, wow, it's great to see how famous people live!!!") or they could be a little twisted ("Welcome to Australia, it's great to meet you, now sleep with my wife") or they could be sinister (I don't think I need to put that example up).

Let's hope for Galina's sake that the couple's intentions are at the very least benign.

So is he lying about the Canadian donor?

Or is he so stupid that he allowed himself to be ripped off on the conversion?

(As good a thread as any to post this, so here goes...)

All:
As the events unfolded regarding our American Walkabout, both Duane and I have been in continual contact with Galina (initiated by Ms. Serin to us both). So with her consent I’ll give you all a heads-up on where she’s at with this mess, and I hope you find what she’s doing a step in the right direction.

When considering what follows please understand that I will not share every detail, and that is out of respect for both Casey & Galina. This is after all a very real family tragedy, painfully played out in the public eye. Therefore, some limits are necessary as decency dictates.

Please bear with the post length.

The Chris Wing Consultations
As suggested during last nights Podcast (great job moderating by CHJTS) I mentioned being in contact with Chris Wing, Criminal Defense attorney in the Sacramento area. Chris was referred to me by a couple of other lawyers I know of, each of whom praised him as the top defense guy for “white collar” crimes (ala, mortgage fraud) in the Sac area. Chris has graciously allowed me to disclose his involvement.

I reviewed the basic Serin elements with Chris, expressly to determine where Galina stood. Is she subject to criminal prosecution for her involvement with the antics of her spouse? Although my (non-lawyer/lender) perspective was that she is very much in the clear, Galina requested that take be verified through competent counsel. No worries, testing the acid (Aussie-speak = truth) is the biscuit (Aussie-speak = correct) thing to do.

Based on the presumption that Galina; 1) signed no questionable 1003’s (Loan Applications); 2) only participated in superficial ways with renovations, etc. (i.e., her clipboard); and, 3) had no confirmed knowledge of the Casey follies. According to Mr. Wing Federal Prosecutors would be extremely hard pressed to gain a conviction, were they to attempt criminal action against Ms. Serin. Why? Because Galina has evidently done nothing wrong, nothing actionable!

Prospects of Galina being jailed are low, in the extreme!

Mr. Wing’s cursory legal opinion will be confirmed when he actually reviews subject documents, which Galina is compiling. She will also be meeting with Chris shortly to address any lingering concerns and other elements, in more depth.

Galina’s Other Legal Measures
Some have suggested that Galina take a number of legal steps, in part, to demonstrate her sincerity and right motives. Well, she “IS” taking certain legal measures and I believe she is doing so for all the right reasons. Now while I shouldn’t go into detail as to exactly WHAT those legal measures are, I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty; this is a woman on a mission!

Hell hath no furry, gents (can you relate?), so I dare say as sweet and demure as Galina normally is? By all indications this lady is serious about taking serious action! I will be assisting Galina in these efforts, where appropriate, providing guidance and support through this trying time. I’m confident I speak for Duane in this regard too, as he has offered support in meaningful ways.

Stay tuned, I or Duane will release more info as those concerned permit. All-in-all, however, I think Galina is well on her way toward proving conclusively to the world; she ISN’T anything like her Aussie trekking hubby.

Gidday Mates,
~Mark

You two guys are truly of the stand up variety if you're helping Galina through this trainwreck and ensuring that she see competent legal counsel for all the areas of her life (the possible criminal liability and of course the huge family law trainwreck that her spouse has wrought).

Oh and BTW if anyone deserves sweet media deals it's *Galina* not her celebutard wannabe spouse. I'd sure buy *her* book and watch *her* TV movie of the week if she so chose to to squeeze the Kangatard lemon into lemonade. I think she and Oprah would get on famously if the opportunity arose.
Also it would definitely pay off Galina's credit cards and her legal expenses and quite possibly leave her well off if such an arrangement could be made for her.

The sweetest part would be how jealous and incompetent her hopefully soon to be ex-spouse would feel.

Have her think about this just for irony's sake :)

Is she seeking divorce? Is this a first step towards that? I would tend to think that she is, but it has'nt been catagorically stated. Or, is she going to give him one last ultimatum?

And, if you get a chance, send along our best wishes, if she's not been reading here.

@ doughboy,

Your assessment of the real estate bubble/bust was about the most accurate and concise assessment of what happened over the last several years that I have ever read.

I hope you don't mind, but I copied it and would like to utilize it when I need to present the facts to RE bulls.

Damn you, Rob. I wanted to wash myself of the whole Casey thing, but now I'm click - click - click - refresh - refresh - refresh on EN all day long.

You, sir, are the master baiter/blogger.

Nicely played, sir. Duane and LMP's tidbits seem to leave your readers (or maybe just me) wanting for more of something they (I) didn't think they (I) cared about any longer.

KC's newfound Aussie friends will get tired of him and agree to buy him the plane ticket back if he agrees to leave. That, and/or, KC will contact Galina, say he made a huge mistake, but he really needs her to take the money she's earned cleaning houses and buy him a ticket home and he'll make it up to her, etc.

good for Galina! Casey is probably shitting himself right now. He's assumed she'll put up with his bullshit indefinitely. You could tell from his comments that he never respected her that much anyway - he portrayed her as a simple and dumb girl.

That simple and dumb girl he screwed over is going to be his downfall.

my guess is she is seeing a criminal attorney because Casey told her if she ever divorced him she would also be liable for any debts/criminal activities.

I hope Casey isn't able to manipulate Galina using her religious faith into standing by him. I'm from a long line of atheists, can someone who knows, tell me if he has a leg to stand on?

Worried - I'm Catholic, and divorce is even more forbidden in Catholicism. But there are definitely cases where it is justified (not sure what the church's current policy is), such as abuse. I am almost positive that if she has exhausted every avenue to reconcile and make it work, and he still abandoned her, refuses to support the family, and buries them in debt, her pastor will understand. This is a very, very extreme case.

I was going to work when someone from Europe, Italy called me and said I could stay there for free all expenses paid, except for the ticket to get there.

Then this really really crazy thing happened, I got another call from someone in Mexico, who wanted to give me $1000, to you know, not got to work today, but I had to go 8 miles out of the way to western union to pickup the money.

So, now here I am in Europe, Italy,
so that's why I can't come into work today, but I will be back because this is just a temporary thingy until I can make lots of money which the forces of evil are trying to prevent me from doing.

Hard to believe? I know, I can hardly believe it myself.

If Galina gets competent help dumping Casey and avoiding criminal liability, she'll be OK. She is young enough to start over, resume her education, get a career going, and meet someone else to share her life with.

Realistically, all she probably wants is someone who will pay the bills while she raises the kids, and that's OK too.

Thanks for the post. You say that Galina will avoid prosecution. Do you think she will she also be able to avoid bankruptcy?

If you ever feel the desire, a post about general bankruptcy proceedings issues would be interesting (not specifically pertaining to Casey and G). Also a general overview of the loss-mitigation process would be good too.

then again, if I was a prosecutor I would only offer Galina immunity if she could lead me to bigger fish.

Like "the uncles". I still think Casey is part of a larger conspiracy. Housing fraud of the multi-million dollar variety usually involves an organization -- as Tony S. knows. Loan officers, apprassers, etc.

You wouldn't have to twist too hard -- and she will squeal like a pigeon. And we will be reading about this Uzbeki fraud ring in Sac-town.

I really bet Casey left the country as much to avoid Homey DA and his marshal friends as to avoid his uncles and their nephews.

@LosMitPro
Yulina may want to look at liquidating or renting out her property and then renting an apartment (using the rent from her property to cover rent on apartment). Have all their mail go to a PO box. List their parents address on the PO box application (not their own addr).

I don't think Casey is mentally stable (NPD). He blames others for his own failings, and is likely to try to take revenge
(NDPs also have a bit of schizophrenia and paranoia). NPDs will strike out at those they previously felt they could control. He will not strike out at those he couldn't control (to afraid to). Hopefully the one-way-ticket will make it harder for him to get back until things are dealt with.

I suspect the Tav trolling is an attempt to generate money through the podcast (very heavily advertised). I would boycott it. Looking at when the person likes to post (middle of the night to early morning PDT), it would be safe to say that Tav is in Australia.

I think that Casey will surprise a lot of you guys, just watch. Anyone can fail at real estate during the downmarket period.

If the only thing that Casey had failed at was real estate, you'd actually have a point. But his moral compass is entirely non-functioning. He fails at being a upstanding citizen and husband. His financial failures are merely a symptom of his failures as a person.

I personally feel a little sorry for him. He is clearly delusional. The Circus Circus thing being the most laughable pipe dream yet. I know full well what is involved with an M&A transaction, and that he believes that he, a non-educated, proven credit risk who can barely string together a coherent sentence and who needs naps would get near such a transaction is beyond laughable. He has no idea how this world functions. He wouldn't be able to hold a job fetching coffee at an investment bank. He doesn't have the work ethic to deliver the interoffice mail at a bulge bracket firm. He couldn't produce even a general synopsis of the sell side process with a gun to his head. Couldn't begin to create even the most rudimentary financial model if his very ridiculous life depended on it.

No one, not even a mom and pop pet store with an enterprise value of $100K, would ever hire him as advisor. I feel like Placido Domingo watching the first rounds of American Idol when the tone deaf crazies insist that they are outstanding singers. It's unreal.

That he genuinely believes it's a possibility, and better still, an eventuality, makes him, by far, the most pathetic creature I have ever come across.

I couldn't care less what happens to this moron of epic proportions. I'd like to see him go to jail, but it's poetic justice just to let him continue to think he's hot shit while knowing exactly how false his self-perceptions are. I do hope his wife wakes up and starts taking care of herself. She actually seems capable of learning, whereas snowflake will never learn.

Teucer @ 10:00 AM:
“What, in your view, was the cause of Galina's relative inaction/lack of involvement when Casey was in the driving seat? Any thoughts on that?”

(Glad you got the “furry” subtext)

Yeah, simply put, from all indications Galina exemplifies is the best of womanhood; internally strong, loyal, kind, patient, long-suffering, dedicated. Let me put it this way, which guys will understand a whole lot more than the ladies (girls, forgive me).

There are women one dates, and there are those a guy takes home to meet the folks. Galina is among the latter variety, and I mean that in the most benign and respectful way.

TV Rots Your Brain @ 10:08 AM:
“You two guys are truly of the stand up variety if you're helping Galina through this trainwreck…”

Thanks for the kudos, but I (and I’m certain Duane) aren’t doing what we are for any other reason than; it’s the RIGHT thing to do. Yet thank you all for the compliments...

Huck Finn @ 10:32 AM:

Actually, not to burst your bubble about Rob’s Net-abilities, but... The discretion is about being as respectful as possible, more than playing the EN readership with suspense foils. But hey if being discrete draws more interest to matters, no worries, but that’s not the intent.

king friday the 13th @ 10:43 AM:
“1) signed no questionable 1003’s (Loan Applications); that's the biggy. I was under the impression that if her name is on the deed, she have to sign the loan applications too.”

Good eye, not many would catch that aspect. And here’s my take. If the lender stipulated (as a condition of lending) that Galina sign the 1003 as a formality, without consideration of HER credit elements; then she’s ok.

This information will be stored in the queue and file notes, the permanent digital account record. Although in order to support a claim of mortgage fraud the lender would also have to evidence that Galina signed loan dox, which she hadn’t save for one (legit) loan. So even if this is the case, where it was a formality for Ms. G to sign the 1003, she is still in the clear.

flailing forward @ 10:47 AM:
“You say that Galina will avoid prosecution. Do you think she will she also be able to avoid bankruptcy?”

Yes I actually do believe she has a very good chance of avoiding BK. We’re working on some aspects in that regard, and I’m very confident Galina is of a mindset to pull it off. Yet she always has that BK option.

Gotta scoot, folks, will be back later! :)

A modern revision of an old classic I used to read to my daughter...

Little Red Caseyhood

Once upon a time, a silly snowflake named Little Red Caseyhood (LRC) thought he knew all about the world and never stayed home or listened to his parents.

Unbenounced to LRC, a big bad wolf was in the woods and very hungry. The wolf wanted the eat Caseyhood's blog for it was very tasty.
Having gotten so close by befriending Casey only to have Caseyhood put it away made him even more hungry for that tasty blog.

So the wolf decided to spring a trap. He again dressed like a friend and had 2 others in his pack do the same. They waited along the way to help lure poor Caseyhood to the lair and away from Friends and family.

The wolf gave him a bike and said he would hold onto the blog as it would get in the way of the trip.

Further down the path another wolf told him to "keep going down the path and how Caseyhood was so much more smart and brave than his family & friends eh.

When Caseyhood arrived at the cottage, another wolf dressed in clothes like Caseyhood's "friends" invited him in and to stay, for it had been a long journey. Then he showed Caseyhood all around the cottage.

While this was going on, the big bad wolf started nipping at the blog, tasting the goodness. Caseyhood complained, but the Big bad wolf said "Caseyhood, I am doing this for you. I am sure you are so smart you already know that". And Caseyhood went back to quietly blogging in the cottage and seeing the countryside.

After a while, Caseyhood grew tired of the cottage and wanted to go home. But alas he had forgotten how he had gotten there, and had no food, and bike was not to be found. So the Big Bad Wolf said, Caseyhood, let us renew our friendship by expanding our contract and we can celebrate when you come home, for I will get you a bike to ride home along with directions. Caseyhood quickly signed not reading the contract for he never read a thing until it was too late.

When he got home, the Big Bad Wolf did not celebrate with Little Red Caseyhood. In fact he was very mean.
When Little Red Caseyhood said "enough, I will take back my blog in my murse", the Big Bad Wolf said "No, For I now own your blog. Now be off before your parents & friends come to scould you".

The Big Bad Wolf now had that delicious blog and he shared a bit only with his 2 canine associates by mailing slices to them since they were both very far away in Commonwealth countries.

They laughed and ate, and the Big Bad Wolf talked of how young Caseyhoold had almost squandered the yummy blog, but this time, it was all his.

THE END...

Moral of the story. Always read BEFORE you sign and do some background checks before taking people at their word, for they may be in cahoots to steal from you all that is important.

I agree with the consensus that the $1,000 conveniently appeared when he needed to get away.

I also find it doubtful just because of the way he described his benefactor; a young entrepreneur who needed Casey's advice. If this young entrepreneur had $1,000 of disposable funds to pay towards this lark, he's already *way* ahead of Casey in the Entrepreneurial thing, and doesn't *need* Casey's touch-of-death advice.

From downtown North Sydney(other side of the bridge from the Opera House shot we all have seen) the Pacific Coast highway has you in the Blue Mountains on the way to Newcastle. Either is within 30 minutes.

Think the Green or White Mountains rather than the Rockies.

Either North Sydney or Newcastle have Starbucks and car lots.

Once had a boss who lived there. Damn near blew the mill out of my rental trying to keep up with his high HP Holden climbing the grades at rapid rates of speed one afternoon. Can you say foot through floorboard to no avail??
